Welcome to Puppy Training Tips. All of the guides reviewed are suitable for training puppies or dogs. They have
enough information to take you from bringing a puppy home to dealing with adult dog behavior problems. The Online
Dog Trainer by Doggy Dan is the best all round guide. It's the most comprehensive and covers all aspects of looking
after and training puppies and dogs. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The Online Dog Trainer is a totally video-based training with over 100
videos and is produced by Doggy Dan, one of Auckland's leading dog trainers and a behavioral
specialist. This training has my highest recommendation. It's really in a league of its own.

He doesn't use force, fear or aggression when training dogs and consequently his methods are fully
endorsed by the SPCA of New Zealand.
What's Covered?
The training is in the form of a website where you have access to all the training videos. There are four
sections:
- Becoming the pack leader. Five golden rules to follow.
- Training your puppy to become a wonderful dog including toilet training within 48 hours, training your
puppy to walk with you without a leash, socializing your puppy, preventing it jumping up and many other
things.
- Solving Problem behaviors like barking, aggressive behavior, separation anxiety and more.
- Dog training - understanding your best friend.
More videos are continually being added to the web site. He adds case histories of dogs he has dealt with. At
least subscribe to his free five-video course or check the full course out for only $1.

This is a very comprehensive guide with many bonuses and a 30 minute video. It covers everything
you need to know about selecting a puppy or dog, caring for your dog, training your dog, dealing
with any behavioral problems such as barking and biting. It's also the best value for money.
For an extra upgrade fee you can get 5 hours of video training along with the book and 30 minute
video. I would recommend the upgrade because you really need video to learn the body language and
how to do the techniques correctly.

If you want to learn the clicker training method, this is the guide to buy. This particular
method is mentioned in SitStayFetch but if you want the precise details on using this method, you
will need this excellent guide.
It's written by Morten Egtvedt and Cecilie Koeste. It has sold more than 45,000 copies in
Nordic countries where it is the number one clicker training guide.
Morten and Cecilie are a married couple who have 18 years of experience training
search and rescue dogs. Morten is also a certified dog training instructor in the Norwegian army
and has trained dogs approved for military service for thirteen year. You couldn't ask for better
instructors.

If you like to listen rather than read or watch, this may be the best guide for you since all
the various ebooks in the package are also in downloadable audio form. You can listen to them on a
computer, download them to your mp3 player or burn them onto a CD.
However, I would have to say that you really have to see the techniques in action to really pick
them up. That's why I'm recommending the Online Dog Trainer to everyone.
